Your driver will meet you at the Isebania Gate, and you'll begin your exploration of the Serengeti. Today, you'll explore the central portion of the park as you gradually make your way toward the northern region. The game drive en route to the Kogatende area will offer some exciting sightings of resident wildlife.
As you approach the northern part of the Serengeti, you'll notice the terrain shift from vast plains of grassland to more hilly and broken landscapes. The northern Serengeti is home to a variety of wildlife, including zebras, topi, gazelles, buffaloes, leopards, and lions.
A picnic lunch will be served during the drive, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Depending on the time of arrival, you'll also have the opportunity to spend some time by the Mara River, where wildlife activity is often high.
The day concludes with a hearty dinner and a restful night at your accommodation, ready to recharge for the next day's adventures.

By the end of the day, you'll have experienced yet another unforgettable chapter of your Serengeti journey. In the evening, you'll make your way to Africa Safari South Serengeti for your overnight stay, where you can unwind and enjoy the stunning surroundings as you reflect on the day's adventures.

Wake up early today to ensure you have plenty of time for your descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area will leave you in awe, especially as you arrive at the edge of the crater and take in the breathtaking view over this geological marvel.
The crater, an inactive volcano roughly 3 million years old, spans 20 square kilometers and is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera in the world. Its natural borders create a unique ecosystem that supports an incredible diversity of wildlife. The crater is home to the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinoceros—and offers one of the best opportunities to spot the rare black rhino.
In addition to these iconic species, you’ll encounter hyenas, zebras, wildebeests, and large herds of buffalo, all contributing to the stunning safari experience. The landscape and wildlife here create a truly unforgettable adventure.
By the end of the afternoon, you’ll head to Africa Safari Karatu for a well-deserved rest. Settle in for the night and reflect on your incredible day in one of the world’s most remarkable natural wonders.

After a restful night’s sleep, get ready for an exciting day—today is the ‘day of the lions’! After an early breakfast and check-out, you’ll head towards Lake Manyara National Park, a stunning 330-square-kilometer reserve. When water levels are high, around 200 square kilometers of this area are covered by the lake itself.
Lake Manyara is famous for its incredible diversity of wildlife, from vast flocks of pink flamingos that stretch as far as the eye can see to impressive bull elephants up close. The park offers a superb variety of herd animals, such as zebras, giraffes, and buffaloes, alongside a rich array of birdlife.
One of the park’s most unique features is its tree-climbing lions, a rare and fascinating behavior. You’ll explore the park’s distinct ecosystems, including the lush groundwater forests and the shimmering lake shore, before beginning your journey back to Arusha.
From there, you’ll be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward travel, filled with unforgettable memories from your Tanzanian adventure.
